Elderly Queens man accused of molesting little girls at day care center run by his daughter

Two little girls entrusted to a Queens day care were molested by the owner’s elderly father, prosecutors said Tuesday.

One of the victims, now 16 years old, reported sexual abuse at the hands of Ramon Rodriguez, 77, at Your Treasures Daycare starting in 2010, authorities said.

Rodriguez is accused of rubbing the girl’s privates and exposing himself at the 121st St. center when she was 7. He also made her touch his penis and masturbated in front of her, according to prosecutors.

After the teen left the center’s care, Rodriguez still had access to her and told her that her “breasts look great” and exposed pulled out his genitals again, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

“I know you hate me for what I have done to you,” he allegedly told the victim. “I am sorry.”

But not sorry enough to stop, authorities claim.

Rodriguez is charged with sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl at his daughter’s South Ozone Park day care between June and July.

“Parents search far and wide for the best child care for their children. At the very least, they expect their youngsters to be safe,” said Acting Queens District Attorney John Ryan. “Sadly, the father of the day care center owner took advantage of the access he had to these vulnerable preschoolers and allegedly violated them in unimaginable ways.”

The day care center, whose owner is listed as Melissa Rodriguez-Thomas on the center’s Facebook page, could not be reached for comment.
