After she was convicted for the first-degree murder of a 5-month-old baby in October, Melissa Dawn Clark is set to appear in court this week to be formally sentenced.
Clark, 47, was originally scheduled to appear before Judge Steven Kessinger Dec. 13, but the hearing was reset to Wednesday. At the hearing, Kessinger will decide whether he will adopt the jury’s recommendation and sentence Clark to serve life in prison with the possibility of parole.
