Pueblo child care facility’s license suspended for child abuse and multiple violations

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Multiple violations and complaints of physical abuse, neglect and lack of supervision led the Colorado Department of Human Services to suspend the license for the El Pueblo Boys and Girls Ranch.

The facility was an adolescent treatment community for kids ages 5 to 18, or 18 to 21 if they were placed by court order prior to their 18th birthday. The Colorado Department of Human Services has jurisdiction over the license for the “at-risk” youth facility.
