Speedway daycare worker found guilty of reckless supervision in child’s death

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – A Speedway daycare worker was found guilty of reckless supervision in the death of an infant at the facility.

A jury convicted Karen Tharpe of the felony charge of reckless supervision by a child care provider on Tuesday. Tharpe’s boss, Jacqueline Murray, goes to trial next month, facing a charge of neglect of a dependent causing death.
