The state Department of Education Friday (Aug. 25) revoked the license of University Montessori School of Carrollton after a toddler left the early learning center without supervision in August, according to the department.
An agency news release stated the department inspected the school at 7508 Burthe Street August 14 after receiving a complaint from the 3-year-old girl’s mother regarding the incident. The mother told authorities she received a phone call from the center on August 11 and was informed her daughter had wandered away from the property that morning.
