ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) — The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) is investigating the death of a 3-year-old girl.
Emergency crews, who were dispatched shortly after 1:14 p.m., told Channel 3’s David Gonzalez when they arrived at In His Arms Christian Academy in Ensley the child was “in distress”. ECSO Chief Deputy Chip Simmons told Channel 3 News the child went into cardiac arrest and was taken to an area hospital, where medical staff declared her deceased.
