A Mother Neglected Doctor’s Tamiflu Over Facebook Suggestions, Led Her Preschool Child To Die Of Flu

When we don’t trust the prescriptions of the doctors and try our methods, it is the same as digging up our own grave. Doctors are the modern Gods. They are a lot of experienced and talented in saving the lives of people. We can, and we should trust them. One such case was seen in Colorado where a boy was dead as his mother neglected the medicines prescribed by the doctor.

Her Facebook post :

The woman has posted her concern about their children, saying that she was in desperate need of help for her sick children. Her 5-year-old boy and ten months baby is both premature babies. She said that they were tested positive against the flu test. She was also terrified about her 4-year-old baby as baby’s temperature was now of 102 degrees and having a febrile seizure.

After the doctor has checked the reports, she has given a prescription with Tamiflu which the woman has ignored as was scared and freaked out. She further said of her 5-year-old baby who was having fever from 102 – 104.6 degrees with alternating Tylenol and Motrin. He was not interested in eating and drinking. She was only satisfied with her 10 months baby as it was drinking the breast milk and eating happily. She further said that she had been treating her four children with peppermint oil, vitamin C and lavender.

Suggestion from the Facebook group :

The Facebook group was having nearly 178000 members in it. Some of them responded to her and recommended to use breast milk, thyme, and elderberry. While some others suggested her to put sliced potatoes and cucumbers on the child’s head. All these methods were banned by the doctors as it caused 12,000 to 30,000 deaths in the US between the period of October 1 and February 1.

The gofundme page :

A gofundme page later identified the child as Najee. The mother posted his condition on the page. She later thanked everyone for donating money and shared her deepest sorrow by informing all that her son has been taken off of life support and has passed. Herself and all those who love Najee are devastated and broken. It has collected 9000 dollars and the page is still running.

The Colorado Department of Public Health confirms that the death of the preschool boy is the second pediatric flu death in Colorado this season. The department does not have any records that show whether the child was vaccinated against influenza. The mother sobbed and said further that their whole family is hurting and it feels like they failed him because they did what they had to do.
