The owner of a local day care was charged Monday after police said she left a 5-year-old special needs child in a bus unattended for an “extended period of time” on Friday, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Debra Brooks McDaniel, 58, of 22 Westover Drive, owner of Superkids Early Learning Center is charged with felony second-degree cruelty to children and misdemeanor reckless conduct.
