A Toddler Gets Bruised While In Daycare, Arrest Warrant Against Offender In Row

Parents leave their children in daycare so as to ensure their safety. They entrust their children to these facilities with the hope in their hearts that their babies and toddlers will be in good hands. But Little Stars Early Learning Center stained its reputation when one of its employees did the unimaginable.

Lyndhurst police have issued a warrant against this former daycare worker. This brutal deed happened with the son of Jazmyn Alexander from a Lyndhurst daycare.

Visible Bruises On Head

Jazmyn had just picked her son, Ace from daycare when she found something unusual with her son’s head and teeth. She noticed a bruise on his head and a chipped baby tooth. After seeing this her motherly instincts kicked in. She went on to inquire about the reason behind her son’s injured condition.

To this, the daycare said in their defense that he had gotten these injuries after falling on the ground. But Jazmyne did not find this explanation convincing. She immediately made up her mind and called Child Protective Services.

The results that she found out after the help of this organization made her shudder. She was glad that she went with her instincts and her fears were confirmed when state and county officials released what video cameras at the daycare revealed.

Parents Couldn’t Watch The Clip

The inhumanity with which the daycare people were treating Ace was disturbing. The parents of the kid could not watch the clip.

According to the authorities, the 18-month-old boy was put in time out for hours.

“You can’t put a baby in time out. Babies don’t know this concept, they are going to get up,” said Anthony Stevens, the child’s father.

“His final time of getting up from the time out. He was slung into the table and that’s how he hit his head,” he added.

Last, The couple has filed a lawsuit against Little Stars Early Learning Center.
