Preschool gets tougher

At Jack and Jill preschool in Attleboro, the power of learning through creativity and imagination allows preschoolers to express themselves any way they want — whether that means pretending to be a doctor, building a castle out of blocks, or diligently examining a science experiment.

Preschooler Wren DeArruda, 3, imagined herself as a doctor, and it was her job to take care of her sick patients. “You are sick, you are sick! You need help!” shouted the toddler to a visitor in the classroom. With a notebook and pencil in her hand she examined the visitor’s eyes, ears and nose.
