CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — A woman is charged after court records say she assaulted a child care worker holding two children in Cross Lanes.
Tyra Nicole Wynes, 24, of Cross Lanes is charged with child abuse creating risk of injury, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

Wynes is accused of striking and knocking down a child care worker at Cross Lanes Child Care and Learning Center while she was holding Wynes’ daughter and another child. Wynes’ daughter is less than 2 years old, the complaint said.
