Olivia daycare provider in court Tuesday on child neglect charges

(Olivia MN-) An omnibus hearing to discuss issues related to her upcoming trial takes places Tuesday afternoon for an Olivia daycare provider accused of not reporting sexual abuse allegedly commited on children in her care by her teenaged son. 45-year-old Peggy Uhlenkamp is charged with Failure to Report Abuse, and 3 counts of Child Neglect, Knowingly Permitting Physical and/or Sexual Abuse of 3 different children. All charges are gross misdemeanors. The hearing Tuesday begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Renville County Courthouse before Judge Dwayne Knutsen.

Earlier this year Uhlenkamp’s 16-year-old son was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing three young girls at the daycare from August of 2017 through January of this year and is charged in juvenile court with three charges of Criminal Sexual Conduct.
