The Joliet Township High School Infant Childcare Center was recently featured in the latest issue of Early Learning Insights, a publication of the Illinois Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Development.
The article features the JTHS Infant Center’s celebration of the Week of the Young Child. The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, and families. In recognition of the national celebration, the Joliet Township High School Infant Childcare Center hosted an Open House on April 18th. The Center staff have been providing education and support for teen parents and their children since 1996 and is an ExceleRate Gold Level program. The program currently serves young parents enrolled in District 204.
