Iowa Daycare Operator Booked For Brutally Striking A Child In Face

A West Des Moines childcare supplier has been accused of kid danger after police say she struck one of the kids in her consideration.

Sgt. Dan Wade with the West Des Moines Police Department says the examination concerning 37-year-old Jennifer Simmons started on Dec. thirteenth, 2019, the day after the supposed incident occurred.

According to Law Enforcement Officials —

Law Enforcement Officials say they got a report that Simmons had struck a youngster in the face with her open hand at the in-home childcare she worked in the 1200 square of S. 24th Court.

A quest for Simmons on the state’s kid care supplier vault didn’t yield any outcomes. A childcare supplier doesn’t need to be enlisted with the territory of Iowa on the off chance that they care for five or fewer youngsters.

Simmons was set up for the Polk County Jail early Friday morning and is required to show up that day.
