KEARNEY, Neb. — Little Learners in Kearney is set to close their doors.

Owners of the daycare say they were approached by another business who was interested in the property.

That has property has been sold and the new owner does not plan to operate it as a daycare.

The owners of Little Learners released a statement saying: “Closing the doors to Kearney Little Learners is one of the most difficult decisions we have ever made. We appreciate the support we have received from the Kearney community over the past 15 months and are doing everything we can to make the transitions for our staff and families as smooth as possible.”

Little Learners will officially close Dec. 28.
