When you have five children, daycare for them can be a challenge.

Kris has been trying to find work since she lost her job, but it is hard when funds for care are limited. She is already behind on her bills, so any of the gifts for her family are not possible except through the Empty Stocking Fund.

The Savannah Morning News will acknowledge individual donations in the daily newspaper and online until Christmas Day with a final total shared with the community on New Year’s Day.
