‘Dad’s gotta do what dad’s gotta do’ Antioch barber brings baby to work

An Antioch barber brought his baby to work as he says childcare in the Nashville area is too expensive.

The barber could be seen cutting hair on Thursday at Fade Doc with his child strapped to his chest in a baby carrier.

He tells FOX 17 News’ Justin McFarland that the mother of the child had to go too class and daycare is too expensive, “so it was time for Daddy to do what he had to do.”

According to HotPads, an apartment and home finder, child care costs nearly as much as rent in Nashville. HotPads reports that the average monthly childcare cost in the city was $1,315, while the average monthly rent was $1,505.

The barber says it involves a little multi-tasking, but he takes extra care to make sure the only thing his baby touches is him.
