BESSEMER, Ala. — A search is underway for a daycare van stolen in Bessemer for a second time and the theft was caught on camera. This happened at the Busy Bee Academy on 4th Avenue Southwest this past Monday. The white 2002 Ford Econoline van was stolen the day after Christmas last year. We’re told the crook knocked out a window to get inside the unwrapped van. Workers there said the van often serves as the only mode of transportation for the kids. They also had trips planned, but until the van is returned or replaced those trips are on hold. Along with the multiple van thefts, the daycare has seen a string of break-ins which lead to a loss of computers, TVs and playground equipment.
