While the economy continues to struggle amidst rising unemployment, there are a number of career options that are in high demand. When looking for a recession-proof career, the key is to choose a field that is not dependent upon customers with disposable income.
Among the recession-proof options are the fields of education, technology and the health services sector. Most of these options do require levels of schooling beyond high school, though a good number of jobs are available with either a certificate or associate’s degree.
Education
