Choose Child Care That Fits Your Family’s Needs

CCRC provides child care information, referrals and assistance to parents

CHATSWORTH, Calif. (PRWEB) June 20, 2019

The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) has been providing parents with referrals to licensed child care providers since 1976. As a nonprofit child care resource and referral agency, CCRC educates parents with information to find and select child care that meets their needs.

To further support parents, CCRC administers several financial assistance programs to help parents go to work or attend school. All families, including those who are eligible to receive assistance, choose the child care program that best suits their family, and parents are served without regard to gender, race, religion, ethnicity or disability. When searching for a provider, parents are encouraged to interview potential caregivers regarding background, knowledge, experience and education.

CCRC does not recommend child care providers and is not responsible for any arrangements or contracts made between parents and child care providers. Licensed providers are independent business owners and are not employees of Child Care Resource Center. CCRC provides parents with a free, randomly-generated list of licensed child care providers based on the specific information that is provided when a referral request is made.

Anyone searching for child care has the right to child care licensing information, including substantiated complaints and access to any public files pertaining to licensed facilities. To access these files, call California Community Care Licensing at (424) 301-3077, (323) 981-3350 or (951) 782-4200.
