Barrington Area Unit District 220 board members have approved an 2.1 percent tuition fee increase for the kindergarten enrichment program starting in the 2019-2020 school year. The kindergarten enrichment program allows students to attend class for an entire academic day, instead of the standard half day. The fee will be $3,573 in the 2019-20 school year, compared to $3,500 for the current school year. Officials said the boost was based upon the Consumer Price Index, which rose 2.1 percent.
