Oshkosh YMCA employee arrested on suspicion of inappropriate conduct

OSHKOSH, WI (WSAU) — An employee of the Oshkosh YMCA was arrested late last week on suspicion of first-degree child sexual assault and false imprisonment.

The incident in question reportedly occurred in late November, calling it an incident of “inappropriate conduct” between the employee and a child at the facility.

The unidentified 75-year-old was arrested on Thursday and fired by the YMCA on Friday but has not been formally charged in the incident. He was a worker at the facility’s drop-off daycare center.
