CAUGHT ON CAM: A disturbing assault on a 4-year-old boy at a Texas daycare. Now an employee of that daycare center is facing charges.

A Texas daycare employee is facing assault charges after she was caught on camera beating a 4-year-old boy in her care. We want to warn you the video is disturbing.

36-year-old Tracy Ludwig is charged with injury to a child after this incident was caught on camera back on November 6th at the Little Country Day Care Pre-School in Haslet, Texas.

The boy’s mother Kindsie Andreason says Ludwig told her the boy had been acting up and injured himself. Two days later, when bruises on his face and neck got worse, the boy’s regular teacher told her the boy’s injuries were not self-inflicted. and the director showed her surveillance video of what happened.

In addition to the criminal charge against Ludwig a spokeswoman for Texas Child Protective Services said the agency has launched an investigation into the incident.
